Is it safe to visit Wayanad in the monsoon?

Most monsoon trips are uneventful, but heavy rain can cause landslides and road closures in parts of the district. Watch the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority alerts, avoid driving at night in heavy rain and keep a flexible plan. We will tell you honestly if conditions near your resort are not good.
