What to check before you book
Every tree house has stairs, and some have a steep ladder, so they do not suit older guests or small children. Ask how high the room is, whether the bathroom is inside the tree house or at the bottom, and whether there is hot water and power backup. In the monsoon (June to September) the forest is at its greenest, but paths get slippery and leeches are common.
