Private Pool Villa stays in Wayanad

A private pool villa is the most asked-for stay in Wayanad. There are two kinds, and we book both:

• Couple pool villas inside luxury resorts: one bedroom, a plunge pool on the deck and the resort’s restaurant and spa a short walk away.
• Private pool villas for families and groups: two to five bedrooms and a full-size pool, booked only for you, often with a cook.

What to check before you book

Pool size and depth vary a lot. A plunge pool is for sitting in, not swimming laps, and most pools in Wayanad are not heated, so the water is cold on December and January mornings. Ask whether the pool is fully private or only screened, and how far the villa is from parking. Many hillside villas have steps.
